Getting started: from an idea to your first build

Describe your idea, answer the assistant’s questions, approve the plan, then watch your app being built and appear in the preview.

1. Describe your idea

On your dashboard home, “What do you want to build?” is waiting for you. Describe the app in your own words: it does not have to be perfect. You can attach files (images, PDF, Word, text, CSV, JSON) or dictate by voice.

You can also start from a template (“Or start from a template”, or the full template catalog), or use “Advanced creation” to choose the name, template and colours up front.

Talking with the assistant is included in your monthly chat allowance.

2. Choose how the assistant works

The menu under the chat box offers two modes. “Plan” (recommended, the default): the assistant asks what it needs and shows you the plan; nothing is built until you approve it — except when your own AI key (BYOK) is switched on for the project: the plan is then built as soon as it is ready. “Build”: the assistant plans in one go and builds right away, asking as little as possible.

A clear request gets its plan straight away, with no questions, in both modes. When questions are needed, they come together in one message, as choices you can click — or answer in the chat, or skip.

The “Auto” switch, in the project preferences (the “…” button under the chat box), builds plans without waiting for your approval. It is off by default.

3. Approve the plan and build

The plan card lists the tasks (“Plan ready — N tasks”). Click “Build” to launch it, or “Adjust” to change something first.

Before each plan, the assistant writes down what your app must do; you can read it at any time in Manage › Specifications.

4. Follow the build

The build goes through visible stages — Analysis, Plan, Preparing, Building, Finishing — and each task of the plan is ticked off as it is delivered.

A counter shows the credits used by this build, updated as each step finishes. The build keeps running even if you close the page.

You can stop the running tasks at any time; what was already delivered is kept.

5. See your app in the preview

The preview shows your app as it was last built. During a build, it tells you work is in progress and updates by itself at the end — no need to refresh.

You can view it at desktop, tablet or phone size, and edit texts visually — hand edits use no credits; “Ask AI” goes through the chat, like any message.

The preview is your working version: it changes with every build. To give your app a permanent address for your visitors, publish it.

6. If a build fails

What was delivered is kept: your app never goes backwards. A task that could not be built is not billed to you. Click “Retry” to relaunch it.

If an error appears in the preview, a banner offers “Fix automatically”.

You can also ask our team to take the build over, at our expense.
