What's a credit?+
The unit that pays for work on your app. It is computed AFTER the work, from what it actually cost: a small change costs little, a big feature costs more. A credit is worth the same on every plan. In Plan mode, Makasi shows you a clear plan and waits for your GO before building.
Is chat really free?+
Yes, within your monthly chat allowance: talking with Makasi, refining your plan, asking questions doesn't touch your credits while it lasts. Once it runs out, chat carries on with your credits and you can see what each message cost: you always know what you pay.
I don't have a bank card. Can I still pay?+
Yes — mobile money is a first-class payment method here, not a fallback: you pay with your operator, charged in your own currency (XOF, XAF, RWF or USD), monthly or for several months up front, with the same annual discount as card. Countries covered today: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, DRC, Rwanda and Senegal — the operators offered depend on your country and are shown at checkout. And the other way round: your app can take mobile money payments too — Makasi provides the payment, and the setup guide is in our docs.
What if a build fails?+
Whatever was delivered is kept: every successful task is saved, your app never goes backwards. A build stopped by an incident on our side is never charged to you; a task that could not be built is not either, within the retries your plan provides for the same project. Finished work remains yours. A fix is agent work: it is charged like a build, at its real cost computed afterwards. And on plans that include support from our technical team (see the Pricing page), our team can take the case over — at our cost.
How much does hosting cost?+
Nothing extra: it's included in your plan — app, database and server. We never issue surprise computing invoices: beyond fair-use limits we throttle and offer an upgrade, that's it.
My app is done — nothing more to build?+
Pro's first tier is made for that: your app and its server stay online, your domain is kept, and its monthly credits, plus the free ones, cover occasional tweaks; the cost of each one shows afterwards. The number of credits included in each tier is shown on the Pricing page.
